“It definitely has not been easy but it has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself”
One year ago I embarked on my weight loss journey in India. Mirage Team of Dr. helped me & I lost roughly 86-88 pounds. It definitely has not been easy but it has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I started this journey because of health issues I was having. I was told that I inherited my mother’s Degenerative Heart Disease, and the number one factor that would lead to an early death was being morbidly obese. Those were hard words to hear! My mother went through hell with her heart disease, two different open-heart surgeries, multiple angioplasty surgeries, and overall poor health. I talked with my mom and told her that I didn’t want to go down the same path she had and that I was going to take the steps necessary to ensure that I didn’t. She supported my decision 100%. Ironically today is the one-year anniversary of my (Gastric Bypass) weight loss surgery; it is also the two-month anniversary of the day we found my mother died from a massive heart attack. Here is to continue to live the best and healthiest life I can for many many years to come!*.
